As you navigate your path at Kent, there are many people to support you. We are a small and caring community, so it is not difficult to find help, advice, information, and encouragement.

THE HANDBOOK is your roadmap during your time at Kent. It will help you reflect on what you want from your degree and support you in reaching your goals on your chosen academic path, so you succeed in your study of the ancient world! Please read it carefully and consult it regularly!

WHAT’S IN THE HANDBOOK?

In a relatively small space, this guide will provide a point of reference on topics that will be relevant as you navigate your academic path in CLAS at Kent. The full significance and application of much of the information may only become apparent as you progress through your course. COME BACK TO THIS GUIDE REGULARLY AND OFTEN, ESPECIALLY BEFORE DUE DATES. 

Every student experience is unique, so you should talk with academic and support staff for guidance on any aspect of your academic career. We will help you realize your opportunities and talents, while you pursue your studies.  We hope that your years here are rich, rewarding, and challenging!
