Dr Dan Lloyd and Dr. Charlotte Sleigh worked together to organize an exhibition, bringing together the disciplines of art, science and history. This marked the 30th anniversary of the polymerase chain reaction (PCR), a revolutionary technique that involves amplification of specific regions of DNA. This approach has been used extensively in the diagnosis of genetic disease in human IVF embryo. The project was supported by the Arts and Humanities Research Council and the University of Kent’s Creative Campus.
