In terms of accommodation, there may be some on-campus accommodation available, though as it is during term time, rooms are limited. In town, we can recommend Canterbury Cathedral Lodge or Abode. The university is a 30-minute walk or 10-minute bus-ride from the city centre. A cheaper option is the Premier Inn, which is near the bus station. There is also a YHA, and several smaller B&Bs and homestays around the city.

Coronavirus update

We understand that there is considerable concern about the implications of the Covid-19 pandemic on the scheduling of academic conferences. At the time of writing, the conference is due to take place as scheduled at the Canterbury campus of the University of Kent. In the event that travel restrictions imposed by individual states mean that international speakers are unable to attend, the conference will proceed as planned with the option of international speakers joining via Skype. The conference will only be cancelled in the event that the pandemic prevents all travel from within and outside the UK. We are aware that the Covid-19 epidemic is a rapidly evolving situation and we will keep updated with the latest medical advice and advise delegates in good time if plans change.
