Galactic Structure Working Group

In August 2017 we organised a collaboration meeting with the Galactic Structure Working group, which was held in the Council Meeting Room at the Royal Astronomical Society in London. The meeting was organised by Dr James Urquhart with 12 other colleagues attending from the UK and from Germany and Italy with a number of American colleagues joining by telecom.
This survey has now been completed and the data is now available to member of the consortium. The main focus of this meeting was to plan the next steps of the project which are primarily aimed at mapping the large scale structure of the Milky Way and investigating the link between the spiral arms and star formation.
