The Beacon Observatory has had another record breaking month of Observations. During September a total of 115.3 hrs where used for scientific data taking, beating the previous record (set only in August 2018) by 14hrs. The July 2018 total hours where lower due to the shorter nights, but correspond to 20 completely clear nights. In other words 2/3rd of all the dark hours where clear in July. The incredibly good summer weather allowed the observatory to be used on 85 nights in the four months from June to September, twice as high as the statistical average.
