Dr Perry Hailey

About

After a career in a variety of technical leadership roles in the Pharmaceutical and Airports industry, Perry took early retirement with a prime motives for doing this was to allow him to study in an area that has been an interest of his for many years. Perry has a degree and PhD in Chemistry/Analytical Chemistry and he will be studying for a PhD (part-time) under the supervision of Professors Nigel Mason and Jennifer HiscockProf.

Research interests

Complex Organic Molecules (COM) in the Interstellar and Circumstellar Medium. Understanding their mechanism of formation, density, symmetry/asymmetry and destruction in different environments utilising a blend of laboratory experimentation , observations and modelling.
