About
Ben is a mature student who worked for over 10 years in retail management and then for a supermarket distributor as a buyer and then in planning for their logistics. He completed his degree in ASSA at the University of Kent in 2022, with my main interests being in astrophysics.
He is now starting research master’s with Dr Dirk Froebrich working on the project investigating the conditions need for the the formation of terrestrial planets. This work will use data from the HOYS Citizen Science Project and other public available data to analyze light curves to “fingerprint” the variability of young stars to gain insights into planet formation.
Looking to the Ben would like to continue research into planet formation and their early conditions.
Outside Interests
When not in the research office you will find Ben on the golf course enjoying his other passion in life.
