Presentations covered a range of topics including: novel technology and applications in the areas of advanced microscopy, clinical and biomedical spectroscopy, diffuse optical imaging, molecular imaging, optical coherence tomography and other coherence techniques, therapeutic laser applications, laser-tissue interactions, opto-acoustic methods.<\/p>\n<p>Seven members AOG attended the ECBO conference and delivered the following presentations:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Novel Technique of Phase Stabilisation in Swept-Source OCT &#8211; <\/strong>poster presented by Dr Alejandro Martinez Jimenez<\/p>\n<p><strong>Accurate Measurements of the Axial Positions of High Reflective Layers in Spectral Domain Interferometry \u2013 <\/strong>poster presented by Dr Adrian Bradu and Lucy Abbott<\/p>\n<p><strong>Ex-Vivo Measurements of Eardrum Vibrations Using Optical Coherence Tomography \u2013 <\/strong>poster presented by Dr Adrian Bradu<\/p>\n<p><strong>Stripe-Like Raster Scanning for Large-Area OCT Imaging \u2013 <\/strong>poster presented by Rene Riha<\/p>\n<p><strong>Efforts in Adapting a Raspberry Pi to Full-Field Optical Coherence Tomography \u2013 <\/strong>poster presented by Taylor Sanderson<\/p>\n<p><strong>Detecting the Optical Sweeping Direction of a Fast Swept Source Without an Optical Spectrum Analyser <\/strong>\u2013 poster presented by\u00a0 Dr\u00a0Adrian Fernandez Uceda<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>There was also a chance for the AOG members to meet and catch up with some people who visited AOG in the past: <strong>Prof. David Huang<\/strong>&#8211; <strong>the inventor of OCT- <\/strong>Director of Research of Casey Eye Institute and Professor of Ophthalmology and Biomedical Engineering at the Oregon Health &amp; Science University,<strong> Yann Amouroux<\/strong>, Director, Europe at Optica, Prof <strong>Marinko Sarunic<\/strong> from UCL, Prof. <strong>Olga M Conde<\/strong> from Universidad de Cantabria,
