In July 2018, the Applied Optics Group welcomed colleagues from Kent’s Research Services whose work is essential in the winning and administration of all our research grants, as well as reporting and compliance.
Our visitors had a chance to see a presentation by Prof Adrian Podoleanu on the group’s achievements, see live demonstrations of Optical Coherence Tomography and microscopy systems, and to discuss with PhD students and postdoctoral researchers on topics related to high resolution imaging.
A unique dialogue avenue was opened that should continue, to the benefit of all of us.
